Configuring iRule Settings and Syncing User Interface
This tutorial covers how to configure iRule settings and sync the user interface created in iRule Builder to the iRule application.
- Open the Settings pane
- Enter account username and password
- Configure settings
- Select handset layout
- Sync iRule
- Done (or restore gateways)
Step One: Settings
Select the Settings tab in the bottom-right corner of the iRule application tab bar.
Step Two: Enter Username and Password (Credentials)
Enter the username and password. The username will be the same used to create the interface in the iRule Builder.
Step Three: Settings
You can configure settings to make a sound whenever you press a button in the iRule application. The Vibrate on tap is an iPhone only application that provides a tactile feedback when a button is pressed. The Prevent system lock keeps the iPhone connected and prevents the iPhone from going to sleep.
Step Four: Select Handset Layout
Select a handset layout button that appears near the top of the screen to Sync the iRule interface from the iRule Builder. If you've only created one unique layout in Builder, you'll only have one button to press.
Step Five: Sync
iRule loads the interface and programming from the iRule Builder.
Step Six: Done
Once the Sync is complete, you'll need to configure gateways. Proceed to the Adding a Gateway tutorial. You may also select "Restore Gateways" to load a previously backed-up gateway configuration.
