Creating a Macro
This tutorial covers how to create and configure a macro.
- Drag and drop Device codes to the button.
- Drag and drop addititional Device codes to the button.
- Create a Delay and adjust the order.
Step One: Devices
Expand the Device and Codes to show the available Codes that can be assigned to a button.
Step Two: Expand Device
Drag and drop an image to the main interface window. The button will snap to the center of a cell defined by the grid. The cell where the button will be placed is highlighted in blue.
Step Three: Drag and Drop
Drag and drop the Device code to the button in the main interface window. The button where the command will be assigned is highlighted in blue.
Step Four: Button
The button now has a single Device code assigned to it. The button is no longer grayed out.
Step Five: Additional Codes
Drag and drop additional commands to the button.
Step Six: Additional Codes
Drag and drop additional commands to the button.
Step Seven: Additional Codes
Drag and drop additional commands to the button .
Step Eight: Delay
Right click on the button in the Panel tree and select Add delay from the list.
Step Nine: Adjust order
A Delay has the default value of 0.2 seconds. You can change the delay in the properties window. The order of a Delay can be adjusted using the up or down arrows. The Page-Up and Page-Down buttons on the keyboard are shortcuts.
Step Ten: Tooltip
A tooltip appears when you hover above a button. The tooltip provides information about the name of the button and the codes associated with the button.
