Adding An Entrance
Tutorial Summary
This tutorial covers how to add a new Entrance. Entrances can be either a single commands or series of commands (macros) that are executed automatically when you enter a page.
- Add a new Entrance.
- Rename the Entrance.
- Assign Device codes to the Entrance.
- Assign the Entrance to a Page.
Step One: Entrances
In the Panels tree, expand the Panel and hightlight the Entrances.
Step Two: Add Entrance
Right click on the Entrances and select Add entrance from the list.
Step Three: Added Entrance
The newly created Entrance is now visible in the Panels tree and the main interface window.
Step Four: Rename
You can rename the Entrance from the properties window. Renaming the Entrance is optional but can be important if you have multiple Entrances in the same Panel.
Step Five: Devices
Click on the Devices tab and expand the Device to reveal the codes to apply to the Entrance.
Step Six: Drag and Drop
Drag and drop the Device code to the Entrance name in the main interface window. You will see a blue hightlight around the Entrance name when you drag the Device code.
Step Seven: Applied Code
Your Entrance is now functional with a single Device code. You can add additional Device codes and delays based on your needs.
Step Eight: Assign Entrance
Navigate the Panel tree to the Page that you want to apply the Entrance to. In the Page properties window, select the Entrance to be assigned from the lis.
Step Nine: Done
You now have a functional Entrance applied to a Page. Please note that the same Entrance can be applied to multiple Pages.
